Robin Gayle
Robin Gayle Wright was born to Gayle
(Gaston) who was an executive director at national level at Mary Kay and
Freddie Wright. She was born in San Diego. At 14 years old she started her
career as a model. She worked in Paris as well as Japan. After high school
graduation, she became an actress. She was chosen to be a part of the
soap-opera Santa Barbara (1984), which was nominated three more times for
Daytime Emmys. She was in love with Dane Witherspoon during the first season.
They got married in 1986. Then, she appeared on The Princess Bride (1987) as
the lead character. After leaving the cast of Santa Barbara, she got the
starring role in Denial (1990) together with Jason Patric. It was during State
of Grace (1990) in the year she met Sean Penn. They had two daughters: Dylan
Frances and a son Hopper Jack. Robin came back to Hollywood after a hiatus with
one of her most memorable parts: Tara in The Playboys (1992). She was an
amazing actress and was a fantastic performer. In the following film, she played
Toys (1992) together with Robin Williams, and she delivered a hilarious
performance. In 1994, Wright was in the blockbuster success Forrest Gump
(1994), with Tom Hanks. Wright was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for her
part in the film as Jenny. She was offered a minor role in The Crossing Guard
(1995) along with Jack Nicholson. After rejecting 14 roles she was finally
offered the title role MGM/UA's Moll Flanders (1996). Pen Densham directed her
and Stockard Channing acted. Then, she starred in Erin Dignam's Loved (1997)
co-starring William Hurt.
