Rena Sherel Sofer is an American actresswho is known for her roles on daytime TV, guest appearances as well as made-for TV movies. In 1995, Sofer received a Daytime Emmy Award for her performance of Lois Cerullo in the soap opera General Hospital. Quinn Fuller has been her role in CBS's soap show The Bold and The Beautiful since 2013. Sofer was born in Arcadia, California, the daughter of Susan Sofer, a psychology professor and Martin Sofer, a Conservative Rabbi. The family later moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, until, after the divorce of her parents] she moved with her brother and father David to Teaneck, New Jersey, in 1970. They lived in Western Pennsylvania when Sofer was five years old. Their family lived in Ambridge Pennsylvania where their father was the director of Beth Samuels Jewish Center. Later, she attended the Frisch School in Paramus, New Jersey, which is an co-educational Mordern Orthodox Jewish high-school. Sofer was born in North Bergen, New Jersey. Her father was the rabbi of Temple Beth El. After having graduated from North Bergen High School in 1998, she pursued her education at Montclair State College. Sofer appeared as Lois Marie Cerullo for the first time on General Hospital. Her first appearance came in 1993 as a band manager. Her first major role was as Rocky McKenzie in the daytime soap drama Loving (1988-91). Her most famous role is her character on General Hospital as Lois Cerullo (December 15, 1993 - September 24, 1996). Later , she was back on the series as a guest-star (February 7, 1997 - September 30 in 1997 October 2 1997 October 2, 1997 - October 2, 1997). Her portrayal of the outrageous Lois won Sofer an award. Daytime Emmy Award in 1995 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. Sofer joined CBS's soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful as Quinn Fuller, a role she created just.
